The Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries

    The Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC) was founded in 1954 as a national people’s organization engaged in nongovernmental diplomatic work of the People’s Republic of China. The aims of the Association are to enhance people’s friendship, further international cooperation, safeguard world peace and promote common development. Till now, it has established relations of friendship and cooperation with more than 500 non-government organizations in about 130 countries.

    To facilitate exchanges and cooperation between the Chinese and other peoples in the world, the CPAFFC has initiated the establishment of bilateral nongovernmental friendship organizations such as the China-US People’s Friendship Association, China-Japan People’s Friendship Association, China-EU Association and China-Russia Friendship Association, giving them guidance and support in their work.
